Winner winner! The 2013 Event Design Awards winners have been announced. The EDA’s recognize the best of the best among this industry’s change agents, and the award-winning projects reflect how the world’s best creative studios are reinventing experience design across all categories. Full write-ups on each award-winning project will appear in the February issue of Event Marketer, also featuring this year’s Fab 50 list of the industry’s top builders. Narrowing down the entries was no easy task for our panel of judges this year, but after much deliberation we present the 2013 Event Design Award winners.

CSI: The Experience Receives Exhibit Industry’s Thea Award for Excellence in Innovation
CSI: The Experience earned the Themed Entertainment Association’s Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement, an interactive exhibit with audio/visual elements designed and built by MODE Systems. CSI: The Experience is a web-based learning adventure incorporating elements from the popular CBS television series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.” The Thea Awards, considered the exhibit industry’s highest honor, recognizes excellence in the creation of outstanding guest experiences.
